Custom Software Development
Build a system around the way your business operates. We develop custom software when disconnected tools, manual work or rigid off-the-shelf products prevent people from completing their work reliably.
01 / The business problem
When this service helps
For businesses with a specific operational problem, and founders who need a product that cannot be assembled from standard tools. Before recommending a build, we examine which parts can be solved with existing software and which require custom development.
- Information copied between spreadsheets, email and separate applications
- Customer requests that are difficult to assign, track or follow through
- Different teams using conflicting records or inconsistent approval rules
02 / Scope and delivery
What we can deliver
- A scoped workflow map and agreed acceptance criteria
- Internal dashboards, business tools or customer portals
- Roles, permissions and a data model suited to the workflow
- Integrations, deployment documentation and a handover plan
Technical approach
React and TypeScript interfaces connect to NestJS APIs and PostgreSQL data models. We define permissions on the server, validate inputs and plan data migration before replacing existing records. Integrations are assessed for access limits, failure handling and ongoing cost. The stack follows the requirements rather than a fixed technology package.
03 / Relevant experience
Related product work
Kerkomjeshter illustrates structured profiles, discovery and customer requests. Recruity illustrates a connected application and candidate review workflow. These founder portfolio examples show relevant system patterns; they are not claims of commissioned studio engagements.
04 / The process
How the work takes shape
Map the work
Walk through a real task, the people involved, current tools and points of failure.
Define a first release
Separate essential workflows from later ideas and agree how the result will be accepted.
Build and review
Share working increments with the people who will use the software.
Introduce the system
Plan migration, deployment, documentation and follow-up around the business’s operation.
05 / Before we start
Common project questions
Should we build custom software or use an existing SaaS tool?
Use an existing tool when it meets the core workflow and integration needs. Custom development becomes more useful when the process itself is distinctive, permissions are complex or several systems must work together. We can review those tradeoffs before scoping a build.
Can you improve an existing application?
Yes. The starting point is a review of the code, deployment and current behavior. That establishes whether a targeted extension, staged replacement or new application is the more practical route; a rewrite is not assumed.
06 / Next steps
Tell us about the problem
Share the workflow or product you want to improve, the systems already involved, and any timing or budget constraints. We can start by understanding the scope and deciding on a practical next step. Based in Kosovo, working with businesses locally and internationally.
